The Terms & Conditions:

Check In and Check Out Times
We are a Guest House not a Hotel and check-in is restricted from 3pm to 9pm (this means no late check-ins after 9pm). Check Out is by 10am. For Guests who have air, train or bus links later in the day luggage can be left and collected at an agreed time.

Please remember to leave your keys on departure. There will be a charge of £12 for any sets of keys lost.

Payment 
We accept payment by cash, cheque and debit cards (Switch/Maestro/Delta/Solo/Electron). We also 
accept credit cards (Visa/Mastercard) but add a premium of 2.5% which represents the 
processing cost of the transaction.

Securing a Booking  
We require a credit / debit card to secure a booking. Please do not email card details as it is not a secure medium Please either fax them to 0044 1463 232220 or inform us by telephone on 0044 1463 231151.

No Smoking Policy 
The Alexander is a no smoking building. All smoking must be done outside the Guest House.

Breakfast Times 
Breakfast is served between 08.00am and 08.45am. A Continental Breakfast can be left in the silent-running fridge in the rooms, by arrangement, for those leaving early.

Car Parking
Parking on Ness Bank is free outside the times of the parking restrictions which are between 10am – 4pm, Monday – Saturday. We have a private car park at the rear of the building on Haugh Road which is open between 7am and 9pm and ask that Guests check in at the front first as there is no through access from the private car park at the rear.

Cancellation Policy
Regardless whether a booking is made by letter, fax or verbally, we will expect full settlement of the total reservation cost in the event of cancellation with less than one week’s notice. We strongly recommend that adequate insurance cover is taken out to avoid losses if cancellations have to be made. .
