The Alexander has eleven en-suite bedrooms, eight in the original building and three in the more modern extension. All rooms are stylish and comfortable. Subtle colours have been used to create a light and airy mood to complement the elegant layout of the Georgian rooms. The new beds with their luxury mattresses are dressed in the finest quality white Egyptian cotton sheets. Accessories form softer accents, creating a tranquil environment – the perfect place to rest after your day in the Highlands. Our original artwork, many of which feature Scottish scenes, is much admired and was sourced from notable Scottish artists. Some of these paintings are available for purchase if you have a favourite.
	All rooms are fully equipped with tea and coffee making facilities (Fair Trade products), television, CD clock radio, silent running fridge (with fresh milk) and professional hairdryers. The en-suites have white fluffy towels, again Egyptian cotton, and the hand soaps are from the Strathpeffer Spa Soap Company who produce the finest soaps completely free from animal products and preservatives. Our breakfasts (see link below) have an outstanding reputation, with ingredients sourced with a bias for local or organic produce. The front garden is simply landscaped and has several benches for guests to sit and read or just admire the magnificent view over the river. We also have a residential liquor licence and can discuss the provision of drinks for that special occasion if advised in advance.
